Lantaw respects your privacy. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We are independent from YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook and do not represent these platforms.

Information we collect

We collect the following data to operate the service:

• Account email and profile data from your sign-in provider
• Job prompts, generated video assets, and metadata
• Billing information from Stripe (if applicable)
• Security audit logs for account safety and fraud prevention
• Social platform access tokens and user identifiers (when you connect YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook)

Social Platform OAuth Connections

Lantaw is independent from YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook. When you connect these platforms, we only request and store the minimum permissions needed for video publishing. We never access or share your credentials with third parties.

YouTube Connection

When you connect YouTube, we request the following OAuth scopes:

• youtube.upload — Upload videos to your channel
• youtube.readonly — Read your channel information

We store your YouTube access token and refresh token (encrypted). We do not access your watch history, private videos, playlists, or subscription data. We only upload videos when you explicitly choose to publish from Lantaw. You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account security settings.

TikTok Connection

When you connect TikTok, we request the following OAuth scopes:

• user.info.basic — Access your basic profile information
• video.upload — Upload videos to your account
• video.publish — Publish videos

We store your TikTok access token and refresh token (encrypted). We do not access your private messages, followers list, video analytics, or draft videos. We only publish videos when you explicitly choose to publish from Lantaw. You can revoke access at any time in your TikTok account security settings.

Facebook Connection

When you connect Facebook, we request the following OAuth scopes:

• pages_manage_posts — Create and manage posts on your pages
• pages_read_engagement — Read engagement data on your pages
• pages_show_list — Access your list of pages
• publish_video — Publish videos to your pages

We store your Facebook page access token (encrypted). We only post videos to the page you select when you explicitly choose to publish from Lantaw. We do not access your personal feed, messages, or private information. You can revoke access at any time in your Facebook apps and websites settings.

How we use data

We use your data for these purposes:

• Operate and improve the Lantaw service
• Generate and store your videos
• Publish videos to connected social platforms only when you request it
• Process payments through Stripe
• Ensure service reliability and prevent fraud
• Comply with applicable law and legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information or social platform data to third parties. We do not use your platform access tokens for any purpose other than publishing videos on your behalf.

Data retention and deletion

Social platform access tokens are stored encrypted and retained only while your account is active. When you disconnect a platform from your Lantaw account, we immediately delete the associated access and refresh tokens. When you delete your Lantaw account, all social platform connections are severed and credentials are purged.

Generated videos and assets are retained in your account until you delete them. You can delete individual jobs from your Scenes page, or delete your entire account and all associated data from Settings.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — export your account information from Settings
• Delete your account — permanently remove all data from Settings
• Disconnect social platforms — revoke platform access without deleting your Lantaw account
• Additional privacy rights — EU/UK users may have rights under GDPR and other data protection laws

Platform terms compliance

By connecting YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook to Lantaw, you acknowledge that you:

• Own or have permission to publish the content you upload via Lantaw
• Comply with each platform’s community guidelines and terms of service
• Agree to grant Lantaw the limited permissions necessary to publish on your behalf
• Understand that Lantaw is a third-party tool independent from YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook

Each platform’s privacy policy governs how they process your data. Lantaw acts only as a publishing tool and does not represent YouTube, TikTok, or Facebook.

• Data export or account deletion — use the tools in Settings
• General privacy questions — contact us through your Lantaw account
• EU/UK data subject rights — refer to your account settings or contact us directly

To disconnect a social platform, visit your account Settings and remove the connection. The platform will immediately be removed and all credentials destroyed.
